Maracanã + Christ
From the top of Corcovado, the stadium shows up between the forest and the city. And on a clear day, Christ the Redeemer can be spotted from several points in and around the Maracanã. They are about 5 km apart as the crow flies: you can do both on the same day, in whichever order you prefer.
Morning at the Maracanã
A 40 min to 1 h tour, at your own pace. Pick an early departure.
Head to Christ
About 9 km by car to the Corcovado Train station in Cosme Velho, or about 11 km to Paineiras, where the official van goes up to Christ. There is no parking at Paineiras: take a taxi or a ride-hailing app.
Go up to Christ
On the Train, check-in closes 40 min before departure. At Paineiras, arrive 15 min before boarding.
We recommend at least 3 hours between the two times.

From the top of Corcovado you can spot the Maracanã — and, on a clear day, Christ the Redeemer can be seen from several spots at the Maracanã. Go up to Christ in the morning and head down to football's temple in the afternoon (or the other way round), with your own date and time for each attraction.

Behind the scenes at the Maracanã and South America's largest marine aquarium — each on the day and time you choose.

Ride the century-old Corcovado railway up to Christ the Redeemer — from the top you can spot the Maracanã — then go behind the scenes at the stadium, where on a clear day you can spot Christ. Your own date and time for each outing.

Christ the Redeemer in the morning, the Maracanã Tour before lunch and AquaRio in the afternoon. From the top of Corcovado you can spot the Maracanã, your next stop of the day. Your own date and time for each attraction.
