The Singular Club

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 24, 2026

This policy explains, in plain terms, which personal data The Singular Club collects, why it collects it, with whom it shares it and what your rights are. It follows the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13.709/2018 — LGPD).

1. Who we are

The controller of your personal data is THE SINGULAR CLUB LTDA, registered under CNPJ (Brazilian company registration number) No. 62.617.605/0001-83, with its registered office at Av. Olavo Fontoura, 1078, Setor D, Lote 3, Sala 4 — Santana, São Paulo/SP, CEP 02012-021.

We operate bookings and dining and tourism experiences, as well as a photo service at partner venues. For any matter related to personal data, please contact us at suporte@thesingular.club.

2. Data we collect

  • Identification and contact details: name, email and phone number, which you provide when making a booking, joining the photo queue, requesting information or subscribing to Signature.
  • Payment data: payments are processed by partner payment providers (Pagar.me and Stripe). We do not store your card number. We may collect your CPF/CNPJ (Brazilian tax IDs) when necessary to issue a tax invoice.
  • Images and biometric data: photos taken at the venues and the selfie used for the facial search — see section 3, which covers this in detail.
  • Communications: messages exchanged with us via WhatsApp, email or SMS, including automated support.
  • Browsing data: IP address, device, browser and pages visited, collected through cookies and analytics tools.

3. Facial recognition: how it really works

To find your photos, we use facial recognition. Biometric data is considered sensitive personal data under the LGPD, so we explain exactly what happens:

  • The search only begins after you explicitly indicate that you agree to the use of your selfie for the facial search. Without this consent, no processing takes place.
  • Your selfie is securely sent to our servers, where it is converted into a numerical vector (a mathematical code) that represents features of your face.
  • The selfie image is not stored. We keep only this numerical vector, together with the search session, so that we can show you the results and display them again.
  • The search session has a short validity period (by default, about 24 hours) and expires automatically.
  • We record the date of consent, the browser used and an encrypted version (hash) of your IP address — to prove consent without storing the IP address in plain text.
  • Event photos carry a watermark until they are purchased. You only pay for the photos you choose.
  • You may withdraw your consent at any time and request the deletion of your biometric data through the contact email.

4. Why we use your data

  • Performing the services you purchased — creating and confirming bookings, processing payments, delivering vouchers and photos, and providing support.
  • Consent — use of your selfie for the facial search and sending of marketing communications.
  • Legal obligation — issuing tax invoices and keeping tax and accounting records.
  • Legitimate interest — security, fraud prevention and improvement of our services.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share only what is necessary, with:

  • Restaurants and experience partners — to fulfill your booking.
  • Payment providers (Pagar.me, Stripe) — to process the charge.
  • Messaging and email providers (including WhatsApp/Meta) — to send confirmations, vouchers and notices.
  • Cloud and storage providers — to host the system and the photos securely.
  • Tax invoicing service — when there is a tax obligation.
  • Authorities — when required by law or court order.

6. How long we keep it

We keep data for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. The facial search session expires after about 24 hours. Purchase data and tax documents are kept for the periods required by law. After that, the data is deleted or anonymized.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads) to understand how the site is used and to measure campaigns. You can block cookies in your browser settings — some features may stop working properly.

8. Your rights

Under the LGPD, you may at any time request:

  • confirmation that we process your data, and access to it;
  • correction of incomplete or outdated data;
  • anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data or data processed in breach of the law;
  • portability of your data;
  • information about whom we share your data with;
  • withdrawal of consent — including consent to the facial search and to marketing communications.

To exercise any of these rights, write to suporte@thesingular.club. We respond within the time limits set by law.

9. Security

We adopt technical and organizational measures to protect your data, such as encrypted connections, access control, biometric data stored only as a numerical vector, and consent records with an encrypted IP address. No system is infallible — if we identify a relevant incident, we will notify the data subjects and the ANPD (Brazilian National Data Protection Authority) as required by law.

10. Children and adolescents

Our services are intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you become aware of an account registered under these circumstances, please contact us so we can remove it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When that happens, we change the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
